Dear Miami MoCAAD Community,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend, Michael Anderson.
Michael was an 8× Suncoast Emmy Award–winning documentary filmmaker, a passionate storyteller, and a generous supporter of Miami MoCAAD. He believed deeply in the power of art, history, and community, and his encouragement and support helped strengthen our mission in meaningful ways.
More than his many achievements, Michael will be remembered as a wonderful human being—kind, thoughtful, and always willing to uplift others. His legacy lives on through the stories he told and the lives he touched.
We extend our deepest condolences to his wife Pamela, their daughters, and the entire Anderson family. Michael will be greatly missed and always remembered. 🕊️
